A Day in Venice
I was truly spoiled this month with a wonderful FMTY in Venice. And not just me, I got to bring a friend too! The lucky gentleman who invited us, spoiled us while we were there and we all had the most fabulous day. Sun, sea, art and cocktails, the perfect combination for making new friends!
A Weekend in the Country
I had a lovely girly weekend in the country catching up with old friends. We rented a beautiful house on the outskirts of a little village and I think we will probably be the talk of the town for quite a while! Playing games in the sun, enjoying the fresh air and overall being quite silly was exactly how I love to spend a weekend.
I’m Buying a House
A big step into adulthood (even though I know I’ve been an adult for a while now!). I’m so excited and grateful to finally be in a position to buy my first house. I know these things move slowly and I don’t want to jinx it but I am so excited to have a place where I can put my own stamp on it and actually call it my own!
Some Real Summer Sun
Something that just makes me happier, no matter what, is looking out of the window and seeing bright blue skies and warm sunshine. And haven’t we had a lot of that this month! Of course, sometimes the heat has been a little overwhelming for us Brits but I hate to complain about it being sunny when it’s all I dream about in the Winter.
Walks and Drinks in the Park
On a lovely summer evening, there’s nothing better than wandering down to the park and taking a gin and tonic or a bottle of fizz and sitting on the grass with friends. I love the long summer evenings and the beautiful sunsets and I can’t wait to spend more evenings this way next month too!
