How I Lost My Virginity

I wasn’t exactly a bad girl when I was younger. I was definitely curious, especially sexually but I didn’t normally break the rules. However, there was one rule I was desperate to break and that was to lose my virgitity before I turned 16 (the legal age of consent in the UK). The thought of it being against the rules really turned me on and about a week before my 16th birthday, the opportunity arose.

I had a boyfriend at the time and we’d been together for a couple of months. At that age, that meant we’d made out and held hands and not much else! So, as you can imagine, he couldn’t really believe his luck when one day I said to him, ‘I’m ready to have sex and I want you to be my first.’. Of course, he was pretty thrilled at the idea, he was also a virgin.

I honestly didn’t expect much from my first time. I thought it would be awkward and quick and nothing to write home about but my first time was actually pretty good! I remember the only condoms I’d been able to get hold of were these horrible chocolate flavoured ones and they had a very distinctive (and not exactly pleasant) smell. I also remember that it was a sunny afternoon, I had the house to myself and we seized the opportunity.

We fumbled around a bit and then took out the chocolate condom, somehow we managed to get it on him and then he entered me surprisingly smoothly. We did missionary, probably the most common choice for a first time and I have to give it to him, he had some pretty decent stamina!

Mostly, I remember thinking the whole time, “This is happening! I’m having sex!”. It wasn’t mind blowing but it was enjoyable and as we got into a rhythm I began to settle into it and let myself enjoy the moment.

Once we were done, I don’t think I necessarily felt different but I was definitely paranoid that people would be able to tell what I’d done.

My first time was good and definitely exceeded my expectations! Maybe that’s why I love sex so much now.
